In October 2023, Matan KG was nearly thrown off a bridge. "I was walking home from a friend's in Atwater, and this guy came up and rammed me into the overpass ledge. I nearly fell into the highway below."

This brush with death caused a radical awakening, as well as a creative renaissance. "I went to the studio and didn’t leave for like a month. It was maniacal." He eventually left the studio with 13 new songs that contained a newfound rawness and immediacy. Blending left-field dance music with distorted guitars and vocals, Deep Thrills is a testament to lust, untamed passion, and visceral emotion.
